MUKAH: Institutions of Higher Learning (IPT) Mukah Youth Carnival will be held in conjunction with the 12th Mukah Polytechnic Convocation here on Aug 3.
The carnival is jointly organised by Mukah Polytechnic together with the Education Ministry, Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation and several other organisations including Mukah Tradisional Archery Club.
Other organisations that are also involved in hosting the carnival are Kelab Salui Lukut Gerak Pantas, Youth Art Club, Kelab Burung Kicau Mukah, Mukah Youth Volunteer and Kelab Layang layang Komuniti Mukah.
Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation chairman Royston Valentine told New Sarawak Tribune’s sister paper Suara Sarawak that the event would run for three consecutive days.
Among the activities lined up for the carnival are kite competition, people’s sports and bird’s singing contest, traditional archery contest, Esports competition, Battle of the Band, exhibition and stalls selling food and drinks.
