MUKAH: Students need to apply the value of integrity in themselves because it will reflect who they are.
“When entering the world of work, students with integrity will certainly love their work and work diligently,” said Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya .
He made these remarks while officiating the Integrity Strengthening Programme of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Mukah Campus, at Dewan Sri Balau, here, today.
He said integrity starts from the realm of education and that this can be seen through student assignments.
“When the lecturer tells you to do an assignment, do it honestly and if there are mistakes, it’s normal.
“Don’t take easy steps by imitating, even though we have technology like ChatGPT,” he said.
In this regard, Juanda advised UiTM Mukah Campus residents to comply with procedures.
Also present were UiTM Assistant Rector Mukah Campus Associate Professor Dr Abdul Razak Abdul Kadir and Sarawak Integrity and Ombudsman Unit Director (UNIONS) Semawi Mohamad.
