KUCHING: Malaysia has had enough of gutter politics and those who resort to such degrading acts should be investigated, said Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

He said this when contacted by New Sarawak Tribune to comment on the confession by Santubong Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Youth Chief Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz on the sex video allegedly with a federal minister.

“I am rather surprised to see an intelligent, professional with a bright future giving a sworn confession statement that he is the person engaging in a sex video, knowing fully well that the confession could lead him into being charged for a number of criminal offences,” he said.

Abdul Karim stated that he smelt something fishy as no person in a right frame of mind would resort to such publicity unless some kind of consideration was given him.

“Malaysia has had enough of gutter politics and I hope those who resort to such degrading acts be investigated and the proper authority should investigate Haziq based on his confession yesterday,” he added.
