KUCHING: Universiti Teknologi Mara Sarawak is organising the ‘Jom Masuk IPT 2022 Zon Sarawak’ programme on Feb 19 and 20 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).
The programme is aimed at providing information to SPM, STPM and equivalent candidates on courses offered by institutions of higher learning (IPT) in the country.
Students get to meet representatives from the IPTs such as public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and public skills training institutions (ILKA).
Other than that, students also get to deal with the Student Admission Management Division, which will manage the University Intake Unit system.
Twenty-one public institutions of higher learning and 24 private institutions of higher learning are expected to take part, among them, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, UCSI University, Kolej Segi Sarawak and Mahsa University.
The programme is also joined by several ILKAs, agencies or ministries such as Majlis Amanah Rakyat, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional and Malaysia Qualifications Agency.
Numerous activities such as Higher Education Exhibition, Career Briefing and Interactive Session, IPT BUZZ and lucky draw are also on the cards.
