SIBU: Prime Minister Datuk Patinggi Ismail Sabri Yaakob arrived here at 10.25am for a brief official visit to Sibu today.
Ismail, accompanied by Minister of Communications and Multimedia Tan Sri Annuar Musa, was greeted by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his deputy, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at the Sibu Airport
Also welcoming them were Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government Michael Tiang, Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng and Temenggong Datuk Vincent Lau, among others.
Ismail Sabri is scheduled to officiate at the opening of the Pan Borneo Highway Selangau Section and the handover of tablets to university students.
Ismail continued his journey to Selangau after a brief prayer session at the airport at 10.45am.
