KUALA LUMPUR: iSTOX, a future-ready capital markets platform has appointed Lim Mei Shern as the new head of compliance, responsible for regulatory compliance within iSTOX.
iSTOX is the first regulated platform in any major global financial centre to offer issuance, settlement, custody and secondary trading of digitised securities.
As Monetary Authority of Singapore’s former deputy director, Lim has over 15 years of experience in the supervision of capital market intermediaries.
“Through the use of new technology, iSTOX will democratise investing and improve liquidity in the private markets. The platform will make it easy for investors to access private markets at lower cost,” she said.
She holds a Master of Laws in Cross-Border Business and Finance Law from the Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University.
iSTOX has been established and operated by ICHX Tech Pte Ltd to usher in a new era for capital fundraising and investment. – Bernama
