BINTULU: Sarawak’s Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 has gained international attention, with scientists from Italy conducting a study on its progress.

Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg said this is the result of the state being able to outline the development plans well.

“It is not that I want to boast. But now, just recently, scientists from Italy are studying our PCDS 2030, on how the policies are implemented.

“Little did I know even the Italians also wanted to learn from us. Just recently, because we have just shared on our five year progress for the state,” he said.

He said this during the ‘Majlis Tautan Kasih Gedong Permulaan Kami (GPK) 2024’ at a local hotel here last night (Nov 23).

Abang Johari, who is also the Finance and New Economy Minister, added the state’s achievement included providing connectivity.

“What happened is that, roads have been built, and our connectivity infrastructure is progressing well, including in Bintulu,” he said.
