ACTOR and TV host Izzue Islam has dismissed rumours that he and wife Awin Nurin are now parents to an adopted baby.
The 33-year-old, who was asked about a recent viral video of the two of them with a baby, stated that the video came from a fake account using his wife’s name and that the real photo used in the video was from years ago.
Addressing the issue, Izzue stated that the baby that was seen in the video was his own nephew and that the child was already four years old. “A lot of people have been speculating, and some even congratulated us.
If we do have an adopted child, where is the child?
I don’t want people to think that we are lying when they see that the child is not with us,” he said. “We don’t really mind the video, though, because lots of people seemed to be wishing us well. I thank you all for that. But we are helpless when it comes to fake accounts.
There are too many of them using my name and my wife’s name,” he said.
