MIRI: the vaccination centre at the Dato Permaisuri hall in Permyjaya moved to Curtin University Sarawak campus hall yesterday.
Transport Minister and minister in charge of the Miri Division Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) Datuk Lee Kim Shin said the vaccination centre at the university would operate tomorrow (June 20).
He added 1,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccines per day were expected to be administered at the new centre which would open daily from 8 am to 8 pm.
“The Vaccine Operations Room will notify and inform recipients about the change of location,” he said.
Lee added that the decision to move the centre was due overcrowding and congestion at the old location.
“The size of the vaccination centre at Curtin is much bigger,” he disclosed yesterday after observing the final preparation at the university.
