MIRI: The Miri City Council (MCC) has arranged for Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Miri and the council’s major markets to assist the general public for Covid-19 vaccination registration starting from today.
Miri City mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang in a statement today urged the general public to come forward for registration in view that the second stage of the Covid-19 vaccination programme will be carried out very soon.
It has been proven that vaccination is the most effective and safest way to prevent Covid-19 outbreak for one’s own safety as well as others, Yii pointed out.
“Members of the public who have not registered for the vaccination can come to UTC Miri’s vaccination registration centre which is located at UTC Miri reception counter to fill the registration form.
“Similarly, this can also be done at Miri Central Market and Pasar Besar Krokop. The duly filled registration forms would then be directly forwarded to the government department concerned for compilation and processing,” he explained.
He disclosed such an arrangement after visiting the UTC Miri reception counter in order to ensure that everything has been set in place for the registration.
