BAU: The community of Kampung Jagoi Pinomu will enjoy improved facilities with the upcoming upgrading of their multipurpose hall.

Deputy Transport Minister (Maritime and Riverine) and Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep announced a RM100,000 grant for the project recently.

The grant is part of the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) for the Tasik Biru constituency for the year 2025,” he said during the Leaders with the People programme organised by the village’s Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK).

The state government, he added, has been consistently allocating funds annually for the construction of new village halls and the upgrading of existing ones.

“Apart from RTP funds, financial support for the maintenance of halls, futsal and badminton courts, as well as utility bills for water and electricity, will continue to be provided to those in need,” he said.

During the event, Henry and his wife, Datin Christina Esni Mied, presented certificates of participation to 25 participants of a beaded handicraft class.
