LUNDU: Tanjung Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu handed over contributions to the frontliners on duty at the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) area of Kampung Sileng Dayak today (April 24).

She presented face masks and food supplies while visiting the area together with other agencies, namely Lundu District Health Office, Lundu District Office, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Social Welfare Department (JKM), Lundu Information Department and State Civil Defence Force.

During her visit, the agencies gave a briefing on the current situation of the EMCO and their respective roles in it.

Jamilah advised the residents of Kampung Sileng Dayak to always remain in their homes and comply with the directives from the authorities during the EMCO period as a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

“I hope that those 18 years-old and above in Lundu will register themselves via MySejahtera or other channels to receive the vaccine.

“All agencies need to work together to ensure that the vaccination registration process will go on smoothly,” she said.
