SIBU: The Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) is inviting organisations to participate in its 13th Christmas Tree Decoration Contest.
The competition will run from November 25 to December 31 at Dataran Tun Tuanku Bujang Fasa 1.
“The first prize is RM3,000, second prize RM2,000, and third prize RM1,000. All participants will receive Certificates of Participation and Appreciation.
“The contest is limited to 12 participants, and registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis,” the council said in a statement yesterday (Sept 19).
The council also said that completed entry forms must be submitted by October 1, 2024 (Tuesday). Forms can be emailed to pierceLWY@smc.gov.my or arifsafuan@smc.gov.my.
Alternatively, participants can fax the form to the Secretariat of the “Christmas Tree Decoration Contest for the Christmas Festival” at 084-320240, addressed to Level 23, Corporate Planning Section, Wisma Sanyan, 96000 Sibu, Sarawak.
