KUCHING: An ongoing blood donation campaign is being held at the Blood Bank, Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here today (June 14) from 9 am to 4.30 pm.
Organised by the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Chapter in collaboration with Citadines Uplands Kuching, the campaign was being held in commemoration of the World Blood Donor Day and the Ascott Limited 40th Anniversary celebration.
“The Ascott Limited, renowned for its four decades of unwavering commitment to hospitality excellence and community welfare through it Ascott Cares programme, underscores its dedication by supporting this noble cause.
“This initiative also reflects Ascott’s commitment to unlimited good through our culture of care and hospitality to the community,” MRC said in its press release.
MRC added that Ascott emphasises its pledge to champion the health and well-being of communities by encouraging public participation.
“As a gesture of gratitude, successful donors will receive tokens of appreciation in the form of goodies bags and certificates.
“We are grateful for the generous support of our partners and the public in our collective efforts to save lives through blood donations.
“Together, we can make a significant difference in our community’s well-being,” MRC added.
