KUCHING: The K30 Golf Club recently organised the K30 Grand Championship Golf Tournament, uniting a total of 94 players in a celebration of skill and sportsmanship.
Club president Zabidi Shabaneh noted the tournament’s role not only in fostering stronger bonds among participants but also in promoting a healthy lifestyle among club members.
“There are several tournaments that we have organised in the past and we have been organising it throughout the year.
“Moreover, this tournament helps to strengthen the relationships between our club members,” said Zabidi.
He said this to New Sarawak Tribune during the K30 Grand Championship Golf Tournament Dinner and Prize Presentation Ceremony at Merdeka Palace last night (Dec 30).
The open category competition crowned Ismady Wahap as the champion, earning a trophy and a cash prize of RM7,000.
Abdul Rahman Ebon secured the first runner-up position, receiving RM6,000, while Ricky Guing Senen claimed the second runner-up spot, securing RM5,000 in cash.
