SERIAN: Kampung Ampungan agricultural and fishing shed can now be utilised by locals here after being completed recently.

The project, worth RM100,000 has been allocated under the 2021 Rural Transformation Project (RTP) fund and began implementation on Nov 24, 2021.

Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) reported that Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn was present to officiate at the opening of the project on yesterday (Sept 24).

Sagah, who is also Tarat assemblyman, presented a Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant cheque and a special allocation cheque from the prime minister totalling RM185,000 to 14 recipients comprising the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK), Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) and other associations under Ampungan zone which involves six villages.
