Kampung Bobak Sejinjang receives RM200k in rural funding

BAU: A funding of RM200,000 has been approved under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) for the implementation of several projects in Kampung Bobak Sejinjang.

State Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Henry Harry Jinep said the projects involved would be carried out next year.

“Out of the total amount, RM10,000 will be utilised to enhance the multipurpose hall in the village.

“Furthermore, an additional RM100,000 will be allocated for the St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church. This funding will be used to establish religious classes and construct an altar table,” he said.

Henry, who is also the Tasik Biru assemblyman said this when speaking at the Gawai Day celebration organised by St Andrew Kim Catholic Church in Kampung Bobak Sejinjang here recently.


Meanwhile, among those present were chairman of the Catholic Church St Andrew Kim Kampung Bobak Patrick Andil, Pemanca Robert Tom Juin as well as community leaders in the area.
