KUCHING: Active Case Detection (ACD) started at Kampung Muara Tuang, Kota Samarahan on Monday (Feb 15).
Muara Tuang Assemblyman Datuk Idris Buang reminded the villagers to give their full cooperation to the health workers involved.
“It is best for the residents to patiently wait for the people from the health department to come to their house to do the screening. With that I hope that there are no positive cases detected among the residents,” he said.
Idris also hoped that the ACD is only a temporary measure and that nothing unexpected would come up.
“If a positive case is detected, it would be contained in the particular house or area. There is nothing much that we can do aside from abiding with the directives given by the government and to always stay vigilant,” he reminded the residents of Kampung Muara Tuang and Kota Samarahan.
