KUCHING: Kang Chen Company (Malaysia) has stepped forward with a proactive gesture in the fight against COVID-19 by presenting 400 boxes of face masks to the Kuching South City Council (MBKS).
Expressing gratitude to the company, MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng said receiving the face mask is timely in view of the rising COVID-19 cases within the city.
“We extend our appreciation to Kang Chen Company (Malaysia), especially its managing director Lynna Lim, for their generous contribution to the community.
“The face masks received from the company are expected to play a significant role in supporting the city’s initiatives aimed at prioritising public health and safety measures,” he said.
He also commended the company for its contribution, showcasing a commitment to its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Earlier, Kang Chen Company (Malaysia) representative handed over the boxes of face masks to Wee at his office here recently.
