KAPIT: Kapit Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel has helped to sanitise public places in Kapit.

Their sanitising schedule began last weekend as they were covered in personal protective equipment and armed with a spray filled with sanitising fluids, moving around to help sanitise public places in the district.

Among the places that they have covered included all mosques, Bletih Stadium, Bletih State Complex, grocery shops and mini-markets, kindergartens, churches, and Kapit police headquarters.

Meanwhile, Kapit District Council has its own sanitising team carrying out regular disinfection of the council markets namely Market Teresang, Gelanggang Kenyalang, Kapit Night Street Market, the council office building and five footways.
