Kapit Health Clinic bids outgoing director farewell

KAPIT: The board members of Kapit Health Clinic Health Panel held a gathering to bid farewell to Kapit Health Clinic director Dr Mohamad Faizal recently.

The gathering was also to welcome new director Dr Farhani Samat.

Dr Faizal is being transferred back to Peninsular Malaysia after two years here. Originating from Pahang, Dr Faizal is a family doctor specialist. He replaced his predecessor Dr Jusoh Junik from Kelantan.

Dr Farhani, who is from Kuala Selangor, served at the Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching before this.

At the function, Pemanca Yong Thu Fook and Pemanca Abang Hamzah Bolhassan, on behalf of the Health Penal, presented a souvenir to Dr Faizal in appreciation of his services to the Kapit community.

In his brief remark, Dr Faizal thanked his colleagues at the Kapit Health Clinic for their support as well as the Health Panel, which had assisted to organise community health programmes.

The most recent one was at Rumah Mathew Bina, Sungai Yong.

He called on them to give their full support to Dr Farhani so that she could discharge her duty.

Present at the gathering were board members Penghulu Lawrence Bandat, Penghulu Madang Jelaini, Tuai Rumah Edison Lugad, medical officers, dentists, pharmacists, medical assistants, nurses and staff of Kapit Hospital.
