LET'S CELEBRATE... Announcement of Sarawak Sukma XXI Karaoke Competition which will take place from 20 to 21 August next at the Tan Sri Datuk Amar Stephen Kalong Ningkan Sports Hall.

BETONG: The Betong Division Social Welfare Office (PKMB) will organise the Sarawak Sukma XXI Karaoke Competition on August 20 to 21 at the Tan Sri Datuk Amar Stephen Kalong Ningkan Sports Hall.

PKMB Betong has been entrusted by the Betong Division Entrepreneur Development Council (MPUB) to organise the competition in conjunction with the Malaysia Games (Sukma). Betong is the venue for weightlifting.

The karaoke competition is divided into two categories: adults (18 to 59 years old) and seniors (60 years old and above).

The organisers are offering a prize of RM500 and a trophy for the winner, in addition to RM300 and a trophy for the second runner-up, followed by RM200 and a trophy for the third place winner.

The winner of the best vocal and best performance will take home a trophy.

The competition is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above, are amateur singers and who have never recorded any album either locally or internationally.

Participants are free to choose any song whether in Malay, Iban or English, and must bring their own VCD/CD/Minus One for use during the competition.

The turn of the participants will be determined by a draw system before each category begins.

Participants are reminded to dress neatly and appropriately.
