KUCHING: The Kuching Division Journalists Association (KDJA) paid a courtesy call on Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin today (Nov 18) at his office in the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) building.
The purpose of the courtesy call was to invite Lee to attend the upcoming Kenyalang Journalism Awards (KJA) 2024, which will be held here this year.
The delegation was led by KDJA Vice President ZulAzhar Sheblee and included KDJA Treasurer Chong Kho Lee, Vice Secretary Nur Ashikin Louis, and Committee Member Angeline Lim.
During the courtesy call, Lee presented a donation of RM5,000 to KDJA to assist with expenses for the KJA 2024.
Lee expressed his support for KDJA and its initiatives, which continue to encourage the media to enhance their skills and ethics.
He praised the association’s efforts and encouraged them to continue their programmes into 2025.
