KUCHING: Keadilan Borneo (Sarawak and Sabah) says it stands firm with the decision for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as candidate for the 9th Prime Minister of Malaysia at the next parliamentary election.
“We strongly endorse Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as candidate for the 9th Prime Minister of Malaysia,” said Keadilan national vice president, representing the two states Dr Michael Teo Yu Keng.
He said this was in line with the decision made by the Pakatan Harapan (PH) presidential council on May 7.
According to Dr Teo, who is also Miri MP, the PH presidential council had unanimously agreed that Anwar would be the candidate for Prime Minister and the new PH chairman.
“Keadilan Borneo continues to stand firm behind Anwar in upholding and continuing Pakatan Harapan’s reform agenda while we march towards the 15th general election together,” he added.
