KUCHING: Sarawak Sports Corporation (SSC) or Majlis Sukan Negeri Sarawak yesterday received a courtesy visit from Kenyalang eSports in conjunction of their latest event Kenyalang eSport: Mobile Legend 2018 Tournament, Training and Trade (KES3T).
This visit marks the strong support by Kenyalang eSports to the council. SSC chief executive officer Dr. Ong Kong Swee was present during the visit with few Kenyalang Esports’s organisers. They also discussed the future plan on how to develop eSport in Sarawak.
With this collaboration and support, Kenyalang eSport hopes to achieve more with eSport industry in Sarawak at the same time create the solid platform to youths involved in eSport. The input during their meeting also involved the next second qualifier of KES3T that is going to be held on this 28 April at Swinburne Sarawak Campus University.
Kenyalang eSport: Tournament, Training and Trade has already planned to endorse more activities related to esports in the future by featuring more games such as Dota, Taken, Fifa and more depending on the request. This is exactly the platform for gamers to step up their game and skills. So, it requires more support to ensure this event could bring the standard of eSport in Sarawak to a high level.
