SANTUBONG: The 11th Sri Santubong Petanque National Doubles’ Open Tournament 2017’ was held last Saturday and Sunday from 8.00am–10pm at Santubong Petanque Complex, Santubong.
The event was organised by Kuching Division Petanque Association (PSPBK) in collaboration with Sarawak Sports Council and LEA Sports Centre Sdn Bhd.
KEPS emerged as the champions for the Women’s Open category to win RM1,600 cash prize, s trophy and medals.
SMK Santubong C emerged as the champions for the Men’s Open category to receive RM 5,000 cash prize, a trophy and medals.
Meanwhile, the next tournament Kuching Open Petanque Championship will be held on October 15 and 16.
