KUCHING: State owned TV channel, TVS is proud to present a short film titled ‘Homecoming,’ featuring Sarawak’s renowned boxer, Daeloniel McDelon, better known as Kilat Boy, to celebrate Gawai Dayak festival.
In its press statement, TVS recently shared that the film combined thrilling boxing action with some elements of local culture.
The statement added that Amirul Hafiz Muhd Firdaus Abong, also known as Thorus, is the producer and main actor in ‘Homecoming.’
“This seven-to-nine-minutes long film tells a story of a teenager named Joshua who aspires to become a boxer and moves to Kuala Lumpur to pursue his dream,” it said.
“This short film brings a unique and inspiring storyline. With the combination of boxing action and Sarawakian cultural elements, ‘Homecoming’ is sure to leave a deep impact on viewers, especially those celebrating Gawai Dayak,” Thorus stated.
‘Homecoming’ will be aired on May 25 on TVS Entertainment’s social media platforms and on June 1 on TVS Channel 122 at 10:30 am, with repeat broadcasts at 1:45 pm and 8:45 pm.
