KL-based firm donates RM100,000 to fire victims

KAPIT: A Kuala Lumpur-based company, Helios Photovoltaic Sdn Bhd donated RM100,000 to the fire victims of Rumah Tani, Tunoh in Bukit Mabong District whose longhouse was destroyed by fire early this year.

On hand to present the cheque for the amount was the company’s General Manager of Business Development, Dayang Horyati Abang Sahari. The cheque was received by Bukit Mabong District Officer, Douglas Pungga on behalf of the fire victims.

The simple ceremony was held at Bukit Mabong District Office on the 8th floor of the State Office Complex at Jalan Bleteh here recently.

The 15-door Rumah Tani was destroyed by fire around 3pm on 17 January, 2017.
