KUCHING: Koperasi Belia Inovatif Sarawak Berhad (KOBIS) recently met with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneurship Development (MySED) to explore avenues for mutual support in advancing youth empowerment initiatives.
Led by KOBIS chairman Zaiwin Kassim, the session focused on harnessing the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to foster the growth and development of creative youth.
“The discussions emphasised collaboration in nurturing the capabilities and potential of Sarawak’s youth, in alignment with preparing for future milestones like Sukma 2024, entrepreneurship development and as well youth leadership programmes,” KOBIS said in a press release.
The engagement illustrates a shared interest in providing opportunities for the youth, fostering their development, and gradually contributing to Sarawak’s community and socioeconomic.
“It represents a commitment to collaborative efforts that seek to uplift and motivate the youth of Sarawak,” KOBIS added.
