KUCHING: Koperasi Koperkasa Sarawak Berhad (Koperkasa) has announced a total payout dividend of 10 per cent for 2018.
The announcement was made by Koperkasa chairman Fathi Hambali in a press statement today.
According to Fathi, the distribution was approved at the 66th annual delegates meeting on March 30 and 31.
“Four per cent is allocated for monthly fees capital amounting to RM2.8 million and six per cent is distributed for members share capital amounting to RM1.7 million. Members who are saving in personal savings account will also enjoy a return of 1.5 per cent amounting to RM236,000,” he stated.
Koperkasa has recorded profit amounting to RM7.3 million last year. The dividend distribution involved around 25,000 members state-wide and each member can withdraw dividend and returns on this saving at any time starting May 2.
“In addition, we also allocated RM1.1 million for the Welfare Fund, RM220,000 for 20-Year Membership Incentive Fund and RM180,000 for Credit Safety Fund,” he added.
