BAU: Residents of Kampung Bobak received a Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant of RM18,000 for their activities this year.

A Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) news report on Sunday (Feb 20) said Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep approved the grant.

An allocation of RM10,000 was given to the Kampung Bobak Sajong Development and Security Committee (JKKK), the Youth Club received RM5,000 and the Women’s Bureau, RM3,000.

Earlier on Saturday, Henry, who is also the Assistant Minister of Transport II, attended a meeting session with the community at the Kampung Bobak Hall.

In his brief speech, he said that the proposal to widen Jalan Browing in the village would be carried out as soon as possible for the comfort to the residents.
