KUCHING: Kampung Sungai Bako was flooded yesterday due to heavy rain and clogged drains. The floodwaters receded at 10.20am but the rain continued to fall.
Meanwhile, Santubong was also flooded due to clogged drains and rising river water. The low-lying areas were under one foot of floodwaters. Among the monitored areas were Kampung Sungai Batu, Kampung Sungai Dedaun, Kampung Sungai Lumut and Kampung Buntal.
