MUKAH: The construction of the concrete drainage project at Kampung Sungai Pegei here is expected to be completed soon, said Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine.
He said the project is implemented under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) Phase 2.
The 145-metre long project was approved at a cost of RM150,000.
He added that the project is under the supervision of the Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) which acts as the technical agency.
“This project is a continuation of the Phase 1 project under Budget P. 213 Mukah. The drainage has been completed for 200 metres last year,” he said.
