LAWAS: Bandar Lawas Neighbourhood Watch Committee (KRT) yesterday held a ‘bubur lambuk’ distribution in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.
This porridge distribution was graced by Unity Officer Zakri and KRT Bandar Lawas chairman Cr. Liaw Ho Peng in the presence of the KRT committee members.
It was held at the entrance to the Lawas Ramadan Bazaar and benefitted a lot of people.
According to Cr. Liaw, the event was also part of the KRT’s annual activities in the hope of enhancing the rapport between the members of the local plural society.
He also commended the existing harmony and unity as well as full cooperation of their KRT committee and members in general that have enabled the success of various events held thus far.
