KUCHING: Kuching division emerged as the ping pong champions in the Maksak (Civil Servants Sports and Welfare Council) championship held at Sri Aman Sports Complex Indoor Stadium recently.
Kuching Resident, Sherrina Hussaini attributed the success of the players to hard work, team work and mental resilient of the players.
“The success not only brings pride to our team, but also to our department and agency,” she said.
The handing over of the trophy was held at Kuching Division Resident Office in the presence of Kuching Division Deputy Resident Tuah Suni.
In the competition, Kuching took part in the women’s, men’s and veteran categories.
The Kuching team were led by Luis Nanga from Royal Customs Department with Kanidi Neng as team manager.
