KUCHING: As an early step in forming players’ compatibility for the FAM Cup 2018 campaign, the Kuching FA squad will be touring the nearest two divisions, namely Samarahan and Sri Aman to hold friendly matches with the teams representing both neighbours.
Kuching Division Football Association president, Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman said the date for the purpose has yet to be set but it likely to be in the middle of this month. “We’re not going to travel to Peninsular to hold friendly matches.
“ Ins tead, we choose a representative team from Samarahan and Sri Aman to get the spar r ing,” said Fazzrudin recently.
According to Fazzrudin, besides the two division’s representative teams to test their players, they will probably hold such matches in Kuching with some of the clubs playing in the Kuching League 2017.
