KUCHING: The Kuching Information Department (JaPen) visited the vaccination centre (PPV) at Kozi Square, Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) of the Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) and Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) on Thursday (July 15).

JaPen aims to create awareness among the public about the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) through its Information on Wheels (IOW) programme.

“Kozi Square PPV targeted 1,000 vaccine doses in the early stages of its opening, but this number has climbed to 1,854 today as recipients began getting the second dose,” explained Kozi Square PICK coordinator Dr Hamidah Lau.

“I urge all vaccine recipients to come to the PPV according to the appointment date on the MySejahtera app to avoid congestion.”
