KUCHING: The two-day Sarawak International Sports Forum and Workshop (SISFWO) 2023 on July 1 and 2 here is a great opportunity for sports enthusiasts, professionals and experts to discuss issues facing the sports industry.
Apart from featuring renowned international and local speakers from different disciplines who will share their insights and perspective, the forum will also feature international and local badminton greats who will share their skills and knowledge about the game.
Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneurship Development Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu said the speakers who represent different areas of expertise will cover a range of relevant topics.
“The aim of this forum and workshop is to provide a platform for learning, discussion, and collaboration among sports enthusiasts, professionals, and experts.
“I believe that by bringing together people from different backgrounds and perspectives, we can generate new ideas and explore different approaches,” he said.
Gerald then added that SISFWO is a unique opportunity for participants to learn new skills, share their knowledge and experiences, and network with their peers.
“We are confident that SISFWO will be informative, inspiring and engaging,” he added.
SISFWO 2023, which will be held at Imperial Hotel, is organised by Kuching Badminton Association, supported by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneurship Development of Sarawak and Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak).
Entry fees for members of Kuching Badminton Association will be RM150, while non-association members will pay RM200 and RM225 for international participants.
