SIBU: A gathering of 800 attendees from 82 divisions of PBB in Sarawak will convene at RH Hotel for the PBB Youth Wing launch, aimed at members aged 18 to 28.
The Premier and PBB President, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, will inaugurate the event on Oct 6.
Organising chairman, Muhammad Nur Syafiq Wong Muhammad Nur Amirul Iskandar Wong, mentioned smooth progress in preparations.
This inaugural event is crucial for the PBB Youth Wing, focusing on positively impacting attendees, especially youth delegates across Sarawak.
Scheduled programmes include exhibitions by various agencies from today until the 7th. Today, a leadership course by certified trainer Khairul Anwar Shazali and a welcoming dinner is to be graced by Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas will take place.
Oct 6 features talks on the PBB Constitution by Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, PBB’s history by Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, and a discussion on the political landscape by Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee and Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.
Oct 7 includes a session on Sarawak’s New Economic Policy and Post-COVID Development Strategy by Datuk Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel and insights on education empowerment by Adana Jed from the Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development.
