KUCHING: The Advocates Association of Sarawak, Kuching Branch will hold a Law Awareness Weekend (L.A.W.) tomorrow and Sunday at Vivacity Megamall, here in conjunction with Sarawak Day.
L.A.W. is an initiative of the Advocates Association of Sarawak, Kuching Branch, to provide a community service whereby practicing lawyers will be available to provide free legal consultation to members of the public. The nature of the advice required and area of law concerned will depend on what is requested by the specific member of the public.
This initiative was first introduced in 2006 and since then, the Kuching Branch has organised this event once every few years at various shopping malls in Kuching.
The L.A.W. booth will be at G-P03, Ground Floor, Vivacity Megamall, Kuching, and will be open from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm on both 22 July 2017 and 23 July 2017.
