KUCHING: The Sarawak lawn bowls men’s pair Mohammad Aryan Nazrullah Nazaruddin and Muhammad Ramadhan Mohamad Jeffy advanced to the finals after a hard-fought victory over Terengganu, securing an 11-7 win this morning at the Sarawak Lawn Bowls Arena.
Their impressive performance brings them a step closer to the gold medal, with the final match set to be played later today.
Meanwhile, in the women’s singles, Dayang Nur Alia Sharmiela will compete for the bronze medal after a close and intense match against Terengganu, where she was narrowly defeated 16-19.
Despite the setback, she remains determined to bring home a medal for Sarawak.
Both the men’s doubles final and the women’s singles bronze medal match will see Sarawak face off against opponents from the Federal Territory.
The highly anticipated matches are scheduled to take place at 2 pm this afternoon, with the Sarawak aiming to add to their medal tally.
