KUALA LUMPUR: The Learning Kingdom Education, the first educational institution in Malaysia to adopt the Finnish education system believes that a good education should inspire children to learn joyfully.
Its founder, Dr Lee Eng Wah said a good learning environment and rich curriculum can encourage children to learn actively.
“Therefore, every kindergarten under the group’s umbrella has a themed design, such as castle, countryside, and fairy-tale world themes, to create a unique and interesting teaching environment,” he said in a statement.
He added that the institution has a unique teaching model that enables students to take notes and understand the text quickly in the most effective way by utilising the latest intelligent touch screen whiteboard teaching as it can achieve better learning results.
Lee said in addition to imparting academic knowledge, the institution’s approach emphasises the cultivation of multiple intelligence, discipline, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills in children.
“By prioritising these areas, we strive to provide a comprehensive education that prepares our students for success in all aspects of life,” he said.
According to Lee, The Learning Kingdom Education collaborate with Finnish Education Solutions, FinnOPPi, as well as Taiwan’s WiSE Maths and Best Science to promote Finnish early childhood education and special education courses, as well as innovative teaching methods, to provide students with better learning experience.
He said every teacher and staff member in the centre is a professional with a teaching permit from the Ministry of Education to ensure the quality of teaching staff.
