KUCHING: State Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin received a courtesy call from the Miri Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA) chief, Ismaidi Ismail.
The purpose of the courtesy call was to extend an invitation to Lee to officiate at the closing ceremony of the Sarawak Zone-level 2024 BOMBA Fire Safety Organisation (OKK) Training and Competition at the Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club Miri on March 3.
The event is scheduled to take place from March 2 to 3 at Curtin University Malaysia, Sarawak.
During the visit, the BOMBA delegation, led by Ismaidi, also briefed Lee on the annual activities of the Miri Bomba Recreational Club and sought the Minister’s support for these activities.
