KUCHING: Ladies, get yourself ready to shop till drop as the Lefestour Carnival is back again with three days of massive discounts and offers.

It is their second year organising the event here in Kuching, which will be held at Penview Convention Centre (PCC) Demak, from this coming March 29 to 31.

The carnival offers a chance for locals and tourists to grab a variety of products and services with extra markdown up to 90 per cent during the three-minute of Boxing Hours sales.

The carnival is in collaboration with a local big bike riders club, the Sarawak Moto Day (Samoda) and Spark Malaysian Club, a motor racing club from Kuala Lumpur.

According to the Lefestour organising committee chairman, actress Didie Alias, the carnival is a vital platform that has gathered small entrepreneurs from the Peninsular and Sarawak to engage actively in participating online businesses, exchange ideas that would stimulate entrepreneurs to expand businesses.

“With Lefestour Carnival, you will expect numerous promotions, gifts, and a whole lot of fun from your favourite online shops and vendors from Peninsular as well as those local-based.

“It serves everyone of all ages, making it suitable for families,” she said.

She also said that the carnival has received encouraging responses from local vendors and entrepreneurs.

“Some 150 booths will be selling various items, ranging from apparels, food and drinks, to automobiles participated in the event,” Didie told.

Didie also announced that the carnival opening ceremony will be officiated by Industrial and Entrepreneur Development Assistant Minister Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais and for its closing ceremony it will be officiated by Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister  Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

“We are very honoured to be informed that the Sarawak government is showing their full support,” she added.

The event will also feature a variety of activities such as a karaoke competition, Zumba performance, colouring contest for children and performances by national artistes.

There will be 15 artistes including Farid Kamil Black, Acey from Bocey Raja Lawak, Datin Aliyah, Nad Zainal, Badrul Muhayat and many more.
