KUCHING: To commemorate World Kidney Day 2024, the National Kidney Foundation Malaysia, in collaboration with Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin, is organising a blood donation drive on April 20 (Saturday).
Scheduled from 10 am to 2 pm, the event will be held at CyberJaya College Kuching.
“Attendees will have access to complimentary health screenings to evaluate body mass index, waist circumference, and conduct urine, blood glucose, cholesterol, and blood sugar tests. Additionally, health counselling will be provided,” said the organisers in a statement.
A variety of activities are planned for visitors, including health talks, dental check-ups, lucky draws and food trucks offering refreshments.
“Successful blood donors will receive goodie bags as a token of appreciation for their contribution,” it added.
