SIBU: Thirty-two students and three lecturers from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak Branch Mukah Campus recently took part in the D’Bankers Journey programme, ‘Mahabbah Links,’ at Juma’ani Tuanku Haji Bujang Welfare Complex (KKJTHB).

In a statement, the campus said that the programme was organised in collaboration with the D’Bankers Association UiTM Mukah, the English Language Society UiTM Mukah, and the KKJTHB Management Committee.

The event involved 61 staff members and residents of KKJTHB, aiming to foster a spirit of mutual help and support for the welfare of orphans.

It also sought to strengthen the relationship between university students and the local community and provide a platform for enhancing students’ leadership, communication and soft skills.

Activities included a soap-making session, group training, sports activities, and a learning experience sharing session at the university.

“This is to inject enthusiasm into our children to achieve success in their lives.

“Without knowledge, we will not be able to change the fate of our lives,” said KKJTHB manager Najilanisa Suhaili.
