KUCHING: A creative art exhibition organised by students from Limkokwing Institute of Creative Technology (LICT) will be held this Sunday at the Plaza Merdeka Shopping Centre (Ground Floor) from 10am to 10pm.
The exhibition will highlight three main programmes — Branding and packaging designs by students from Diploma in Graphic Design; Fashion Showcase (Theme: Red Carpet) by Diploma in Fashion and Apparel Design; and an Animated Short Film Premier by the students from Diploma in Animation and Multimedia Design.
The event aims to showcase artwork and talent from the Limkokwing Sarawak campus students to the public and industries, to promote locally created art and to introduce the soon-to-graduate to the industry, and to expose them towards criticism and public feedback.
Alongside these showcases, there will be a launching ceremony at 12pm with various performances such as dance and fashion shows. Not to forget, specially invited guests from various walks throughout the field to evaluate students’ work, which encourage them to be actively engage within the industry.
Limkokwing is a private international university with a presence across Africa, Europe and Asia, with its main campus in Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur. At the moment, the university has over 30,000 students from more than 165 countries, studying in 14 campuses located across the three continents.
