SIBU: In a show of gratitude, the former president of the Lions Club of Sibu Pahlawan, hosted a fancy dinner at a local restaurant here recently.
The event was held to thank the directors and members who served during his time as president, which lasted from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.
Dr David Ling Sien Ngan expressed his appreciation for their cooperation and support throughout his term.
Dr Ling also presented awards to acknowledge their significant contributions.
The dinner was attended by the former Governor of Lions Clubs International District 308 A2, Datuk Betty Wong Yieng.
Also, Kong Tze Ling has been unanimously elected as the new president of the club and will take office from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024.
