SIBU: As part of charity programmes, Lions International District 308-A2 Region 2 & 3 Lions Clubs recently pooled together to make donation of 30 mats to Citizen Middle School at Jalan Kong Yit Khim here.
Their joint press statement stated that the donated items are for usage of the students during physical education classes.
This initiative was spearheaded by Lions Club of Sibu Rejang president, Stella Yii, in collaboration with other local Lions Clubs.
The mats were handed over by Yii to the vice principal of Citizen Middle School Fandy Fong, and witnessed by past district governors Datuk Betty Wong Yieng and Augustine Ngu.
