KUCHING: A poster contest on peace for students aged 11, 12 and 13 will open for submissions from Aug 30 to Sept 5, with the final entry on Sept 6.
“The objective is to allow children to participate in community activities while providing them the opportunity to portray their definition of peace,” said Lions International on Thursday (Aug 19).
This year’s contest is jointly organised by 13 Lions Clubs (Region 1 District 308-A2) with the theme ‘We Are All Connected’.
“The contest has inspired many young people around the world to express their meaning of peace and over four million children from nearly 100 nations have participated for the last 20 years.”
